About Andres

andresFor over 25 years, Andres Aportela, a DEA Narcotic Certified Instructor, has been training dogs in the sport of Schutzhund, with many graduates placing in the top ten in all 3 phases, specifically in tracking.

Andres is the president and master trainer for the North Jersey Schutzhund and Police Association. The club maintains approximately 20 members and titles between 20 to 30 dogs per year.  Most club members qualify and compete in regional and national events every year.  More that 80% of our members score in the high 90's in all phases. He has achieved the Schutzhund USA sports medal in master gold, gold, silver, and bronze.

I  like to give all of my respect and gratitute to Edgar Kaltenbach for his great teaching and training methods and his top quality of dogs. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Andres Aportela
