Andres Aportela, Professional Dog Trainer

President and master trainer for the North Jersey Schutzhund and Police Association, Andres Aportela has over 25 years experience training dogs. He has a proven success record in the Schutzhund sport: Over 80 percent of the association's animals have ranked in the high 90s, and Aportela has received all levels of awards, including the master gold.

Basic Obedience Training

A well-trained dog makes a more enjoyable and better-behaved companion. Trained animals also tend to have a stronger bond with their owners and display fewer unwanted behaviors. At Pro Canine Center, Aportela and his staff provide basic obedience training to get your dog to respond to commands immediately. We also encourage playtime and positive reinforcement to help eliminate biting and other aggressive behaviors. All classes are available for dogs 10 weeks of age to six years old, with an option for boarding and training.

Advanced Training From A Certified Dog Trainer

For dogs that have passed basic obedience classes, the next level of training via advanced classes with Aportela may be appropriate. These classes focus on off-leash training and elite obedience, which helps you build a strong relationship with your pet.
